REPORT ON THE 12th RAPID REVIEW PROGRAMME
The Department of Periodontology, Azeezia College of Dental Sciences & Research, Kollam, successfully organised the 12th Rapid Review Programme from 17th to 19th August 2026. The three-day academic programme was designed to provide focused, evidence-based updates on contemporary concepts and clinical advancements in Periodontology.
The programme featured a series of expert-led lectures delivered by distinguished academicians. The sessions covered a wide range of topics, including periodontal pathogenesis, periodontal regeneration, host modulation therapy, mucogingival problems, periodontal biomarkers, advanced diagnostic aids, periodontal microbiome, interdisciplinary periodontics, occlusion and implantology.
The programme offered a valuable platform for academic interaction, knowledge sharing and professional development. The expert lectures and clinical discussions helped reinforce fundamental concepts while introducing participants to emerging evidence and contemporary approaches to periodontal diagnosis and management.
The 12th Rapid Review Programme concluded successfully, reflecting the Department of Periodontology’s continued commitment to academic excellence, evidence-based clinical practice and postgraduate learning.
