REPORT ON NATIONAL DOCTOR’S DAY CELEBRATION
National Doctor’s Day was observed at Azeezia College of Dental Science and Research, organized by the Department of Public Health Dentistry, in order to recognize and honor the dedication and invaluable contributions of doctors. Doctor’s Day, celebrated on July 1st, commemorates Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy and underscores the significant role of medical professionals in the healthcare system. In addition to patient care, doctors contribute immensely as educators and mentors, imparting knowledge, clinical expertise, and ethical values to students and interns.
As part of the observance, the interns of the Department of Public Health Dentistry prepared handmade cards containing a heartfelt gratitude note and distributed them to all the doctors as a mark of respect and appreciation for their unwavering commitment, guidance, and service. The celebration served as a meaningful occasion to acknowledge the nobility of the profession and to inspire future healthcare professionals to uphold the principles of compassion, dedication, and service.
This initiative not only expressed sincere appreciation but also reinforced the values of empathy, respect, and excellence that define the noble medical profession.
