Report on National Dentist Day Program by Department of Public Health Dentistry, Azeezia Dental College
The Department of Public Health Dentistry, Azeezia College of Dental Science & Research organized a commendable National dentist day program on March 6 th 2024. The Department of Public Health Dentistry along with Department of Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge, organized an oral screening camp for 53 inmates of SS Samithi Abhayakendram, Mayyanad, Kollam. This initiative aimed to address and identify oral health issues, ensuring timely intervention &care for the residents.
Under the project “Thanal” a cloth donation drive was also organized for the residents of SS samithi Abhayakendram to address their immediate needs, fostering a sense of community care, support & positive impact on their lives.
As a part of this day ,a competition was also conducted for interns “click a pic” capturing moments with person who inspired their dental journey . This unique initiative not only showcased creative expressions but had provided a platform for expressing a sense of gratitude&acknowledgement for their mentors.
