REPORT
An awareness program on ‘HPV vaccination- All You Need To Know’ has been organised by the Department of Public Health Dentistry as part of Project Sanjeevani on 29th March 2023 at Lecture Hall I from 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm. The guest speaker was Dr.Leena Johnson, Associate Professor, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The welcome speech was given by Dr.Arathy Vijayan, HOD, Department of Public Health Dentistry.The program was attended by 2nd , 3rd, Final year students , interns, PG and faculty. The session included information about HPV , it’s spread, importance of HPV vaccination, who should be vaccinated against it and at what age group, it’s availability and it’s effectiveness. At the end of the session the speaker cleared queries put forth by the audience. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr.Mymoona Nazreen,Intern.
