REPORT OF TEACHERS DAY
Teacher’s day is a special occasion celebrated across India to honour and appreciates the dedications and contributions of teachers in shaping the future of students and ultimately the nation, observed annually on September 5th. The date is not just randomly chosen, it marks the birth anniversary of India’s most respected scholars and former president Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
The Azeezia College of Dental Sciences and Research, Department of Public Health Dentistry organized the teacher’s day program on 5/9/2024.
The program was conducted in the lecture hall 4 at 1:30pm to 2:30pm. All the teachers participated in the event which was organized by the Interns of Public Health Dentistry Department. The Interns of Azeezia College of Dental Sciences and Research prepared a special message of token as a gift for the teachers. The welcome speech was given by Dr.Heeba Jabbar, Intern, Azeezia Dental College of Sciences and Research. A small speech was addressed by the Vice Principal Dr.Rathy R and Dean of the college Dr.Nandakumar. After that there was a grand cake cutting ceremony carried in the presence of the whole staffs. A short video was also displayed as greetings for the teachers from the students. There were also fun games hosted for entertainment by the interns. The program was concluded with vote of thanks by Dr.Nidhi Susan George, Intern, Azeezia College of Dental Sciences and Research.
For teachers, this day was a celebration and time for reflection. It provides them with an opportunity to reflect on their teaching methods and impact on students.
