REPORT
A CDE programme titled “UNTYING THE KNOT, THE LASER EDGE” was successfully conducted on
14th July 2026. The programme comprised of lectures, a live clinical demonstration on a patient, and a
hands-on training session. A total of 71 participants attended the lecture sessions, live demonstration, and
hands-on workshop. The programme was well received by the participants and proved to be highly informative and clinically
relevant. It created awareness regarding the applications of laser technology, various clinical conditions, and
treatment modalities in pediatric dentistry. The lectures, live demonstration, and hands-on training enhanced
the participants’ understanding of laser-assisted procedures and provided valuable practical exposure.
The programme also generated significant interest among postgraduate students by promoting academic
orientation, professional development, and meaningful interaction with experienced faculty members.
Overall, the CDE programme successfully achieved its objective of enhancing participants’ knowledge and
clinical skills in the field of laser dentistry.
