The Dept of Oral Pathology and Public Health Dentistry on February 5th, along with the QSSS kollam organized an awareness campaign to observe World Cancer Day. An Awareness Class on Oral Cancer and Self Detection in Cancer carried out by Dr Aarathi vijayan. Dr Naveen, Post Graduates and Interns were also present for the event. Following that an exhibition and dental screening was done. Around 87 ASHA workers and 300 families participated in the program.
