Anti-Ragging Awareness Programme was conducted for I & II BDS students on 29th September 2022 at Azeezia Dental College Auditorium from 9.30 am to 11.00 am.
The Principal Dr. Radhakrishnan Nair welcomed the gathering.
Dr. Aseem H , DCI Member inaugurated the Programme.
Dr. Aseem H had an interactive session with Anti Ragging Committee members and enlightened the committee members on the measures to curb the menace of ragging in institution and the responsibilities of anti-ragging committee members. He delivered anti ragging Awareness talk for the Students explaining about the anti-ragging act given by the govt and statutory bodies and also regarding the anti-ragging mechanism in institutions which is monitored by the Dental Council of India.
Dr. Nandakumar, Dean, felicitated the occasion. The Azeezia Medical College CEO , Mr. Jawahar Janardh ( Former Assistant Commisiner of Police) sensitised the students on Anti Ragging mechanism in the college campus and also explained about the Anti-ragging act, the associated penal codes and punishments.
