REPORT OF CAMP AT SNHSS, CHATHANNOOR, KOLLAM
The Department of Public Health Dentistry, Azeezia college of Dental science and Research and NSS unit(NSS/SFU/KLM/KUHS/3) organized an oral screening camp in association with NSS unit of SN Trust HSS, Chathannoor Kollam on 11/11/2025.
The camp started at 10:00 am with a welcome speech by Ms Resmi B, Principal of SN Trust HSS, Chathannoor. At the camp, about 117 patients were screened. Among the 117 patients 103 patients referred to Azeezia Dental College for further treatments. Almost all patients were educated about the importance of oral health and its importance. The patients were also educated about the proper brushing technique. Among 103 patients , 72 patients referred to Conservative Dentistry and Endodontic. 94 patients were referred to Periodontology,29 patients were referred to Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry,9 patients were referred to OMFS and 72 patients were referred to Orthodontics and dentofacial orthopaedics. The camp concluded at 1:30 pm.
