CAMP REPORT OF GOVT VHSS THATTAMALA, KOLLAM
An oral screening/ health awareness program was conducted by Department of Public Health
Dentistry, Azeezia College of Dental Sciences and Research and NSS unit
(NSS/SFU/KLM/KUHS/3) in association with the NSS Unit at Govt.V.H.S.S, Thatamala on
03-01-2025. The oral screening camp started at 10am.
A total of 115 students of classes 5th and 6th standard were screened and 98 students were
referred to Azeezia Dental College for further treatment. A total of 27 students were referred
for orthodontic treatment, 66 were referred for restoration, 45 for oral prophylaxis. Most of
the students were referred to pedodontics department for the treatment. All the students were
individually demonstrated the brushing technique and instructed about basic oral hygiene
procedures.The camp concluded at 1.30pm.
