REPORT OF NATIONAL DENTIST DAY
National Dentist Day is observed on 6th march every year to promote oral health awareness and to educate the public about the importance of oral health. In March every year, dentists are recognised on Dentist’s Day as a way to show appreciation and thankfulness.
To celebrate National Dentist Day 2023 (6th March) an orientation program on the topic “Think Outside the Box “was organized by the Department of Public Health Dentistry, Azeezia College of Dental Sciences and Research, Kollam. The resource person for the session was Dr Mithula Nair, Assistant professor, Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology and VG Mrs India 2022.
The program was conducted for interns and final year students in lecture hall 1 at Azeezia College of Dental Sciences and Researchfrom 1:30pm to 2:30 pm. Dr HashikaBeegum, Intern, Azeezia College of Dental Sciences and Research delivered welcome address and introduced the resource person .
The resource person Dr Mithula Nair delivered the lecture on the topic “Building more than one successful career from your passion” #winning at work.
The session was very interesting. The speaker explained importance of financial independence especially among ladies and also about importance of keeping a routine in our life. As the part of this orientation program students were encouraged to build their passion along with their profession. Following the session, an interactive session was also held to clear the doubts and to exchange the ideas. The programme was concluded by vote of thanks by Mr. Noufal Final year student
